On July 19, 2024, Yaroslavl State Pedagogical University (YSPU) lecturers conducted an educational event for University of Ghana students as part of the implementation of the additional general developmental program «Russian Language in Professional Communication.»
The main goal of the event was to help develop self-presentation skills in Russian, introduce students to the rules of writing a resume and conducting themselves in an interview, as well as to foster a desire for creative self-expression. Under the guidance of lecturer A.E. Kuptsov, the students prepared monologues and presentations about speech behavior in Russia and Ghana, presented their companies, and simulated interview dialogues in Russian. This allowed them not only to improve their language skills but also to gain practical experience.

Furthermore, the participants worked with video materials and presented their own skits depicting the process of a job interview. All students demonstrated a high level of Russian language proficiency and showcased their creative abilities. Upon completion of the event, all participants were awarded certificates. The atmosphere was filled with positivity and enthusiasm, and everyone was pleased with the results!
We thank everyone for their active participation and wish you success in the future!
The implementation of this educational event at the YSPU Center for Open Education is carried out with the support of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation and the «My History» Foundation for Support of Humanitarian Sciences.
