From September 18th to 20th, the XXI International scientific school-seminar named after Professor Luiza Mikhailovna Skrelina, «Man and His Language,» dedicated to the study of Romance languages, was held at Yaroslavl State Pedagogical University (YSPU).

The conference brought together more than 70 leading scholars in Romance studies from various cities across Russia and Belarus, including St. Petersburg, Moscow, Bryansk, Irkutsk, Nizhny Novgorod, Vologda, Voronezh, Omsk, Arkhangelsk, Chelyabinsk, Nizhnevartovsk, Belgorod, Volgograd, and Minsk. We also welcome participants from Kuban, Karelia, Chuvashia, and Siberia.

The conference participants were greeted by the First Vice-Rector of the university, Alexander Khodyrev; Doctor of Philological Sciences, Professor at Herzen State Pedagogical University of Russia, Lidiya Stanovaya; and Doctor of Philological Sciences, Professor, President of the Methodist University of Abidjan, Nyalegon Makagnon René.
