Bia National Park is located on the border with Côte d’Ivoire. Park workers opened it in 1935. There is a Bia River near the park, which is why the park is so named. This is one of the last true tropical rainforests in Ghana where nature has remained almost untouched. The park is not as famous as others, but you can see beautiful nature here. Its area is 563 square kilometers.

Here you can find 62 species of animals. The main inhabitants of the park are elephants. There are more of them here than anywhere else in Ghana.
