Kakum National Park is located in the south-central part of Ghana. Its area is 375 square kilometers. Tropical rainforests cover 90 percent of the park’s territory. It is one of three places in Africa where you can walk on canopy walkways. They are located at a height of 30 to 50 meters, but it is safe to walk on them. In the park, you can find 266 species of birds, 500 species of butterflies, and many animals. This is the most popular park in Ghana.
