From June 3rd to 5th, the «Russia My Love» festival was successfully held in Abidjan (Côte d’Ivoire) for schoolchildren, students, and teachers from the republic.

On June 5th, at the «Sakharezh» camp in the Yaroslavl region, YSPU teachers organized Ghana Day for schoolchildren, who were able to discover this distant republic and learn to dance Ghanaian dances and draw African motifs.

On June 10th, a friendly meeting between students and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to Côte d’Ivoire, Alexei Saltykov, took place at EPHRATA University in Abidjan.

On June 11, YSPU faculty members participated in a gala evening to celebrate the Russian Federation’s National Day, hosted by the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Côte d’Ivoire.

From June 13 to 16, closing ceremonies were held at universities in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire, to celebrate the completion of four additional general education and advanced Russian language and culture programs.

On June 19, the event entitled «Russia, a Generous Soul» was held in Yaroslavl for students from Côte d’Ivoire and Cameroon.

All these events were organized with the support of the Russian Ministry of Education and the «My History» Humanities Support Foundation.
