NZULEZU

The village of Nzulezu is located on the shore of Lake Tadane in the western part of Ghana. The village is over 500 years old. Here, people live in wooden houses on the lake. All the houses, the school, and even the church are built on the water.

People built Nzulezu on water for protection. During times of war, it was difficult for enemies to approach the village because it is located far from the shore.

The houses are connected by small bridges. There is no electricity in the village. There are no cars, and the main transport is boats. The villagers use only them. In the village, you can see crocodiles. This place is open to tourists. For them, there is a small house in Nzulezu where you can stay.
