From July 7 to July 9, 2026, the city of Accra (Republic of Ghana) will host the Festival of Science and Arts “I Love Russia”.   A team of lecturers from Yaroslavl State Pedagogical University (YSPU) is travelling to Ghana to deliver three unforgettable days of Russian culture, science, and creativity for local schoolchildren and university students.  

The festival programme includes:

• workshops on Russian traditions  
• introduction to Russian music, songs, and dances  
• presentations of Russian cuisine  
• interactive lectures about Russia  
• creative and scientific labs

Each day of the festival will bring new discoveries. The ultimate goal is for every participant to be able to say: “I love Russia.”   The project is implemented with the support of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation.   We truly believe that 10,000 kilometres is no obstacle when we are brought together by sincere curiosity and the warmth of our hearts.
