It also houses the world-famous museum complex. Every year, over two million people from all over the world come here. The museum has hundreds of thousands of exhibits that tell about the history and culture of Russia. The museum complex consists of seven museums: the Armory Chamber, the Assumption Cathedral, the Archangel Cathedral, the Patriarch’s Chambers, and others. In the Kremlin museums, you can see royal treasures, ancient weapons, and precious icons.
Red Square, next to the Kremlin, is the most important place in the country, where parades and holidays are held. Amazing buildings stand here: St. Basil’s Cathedral, the large GUM store with beautiful shop windows, and the Mausoleum. The Moscow Kremlin and Red Square are the main symbols of Russia.
