DEVELOPMENT OF INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION OF YSPU
The international partnership of YSPU named after K.D. Ushinsky has a wide geography. YSPU pays special attention to the development of international educational programs within the framework of the academic mobility project, which gives the university students the opportunity to study for a semester at a partner university. Currently, academic mobility is implemented with partner universities from Armenia, Belarus, Ghana, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, China, Côte d’Ivoire, Uzbekistan.
YSPU faculties participate in international research projects. Thus, since 2014, the Faculty of Foreign Languages has been successfully implementing the ERASMUS+ program project “Improving the Teaching of European Languages by Introducing Online Technologies in Teacher Training”
CHINESE CULTURAL AND EDUCATIONAL CENTER
Since 2017, within the framework of the cooperation agreement between YSPU and the Southwest University of the People’s Republic of China, the Chinese Cultural and Educational Center has been operating at the Yaroslavl Pedagogical University. The Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in the Russian Federation provides support for the center’s activities.
The center’s activities are supported on a permanent basis by Professor Kou Xiaohua and Gao Shenhan.
The main objectives of the center:
• Training of Chinese language teachers.
• Organization of teaching Chinese language to schoolchildren, students and adults.
• Implementation of joint scientific, educational and cultural projects.
• Development of Russian-Chinese cooperation in the fields of education, science and culture.
• Popularization of Chinese culture.
• Conducting testing to determine the level of proficiency in Chinese according to the HSK standard.
