M.V. Dorogov Center for Transfer of Pharmaceutical Technologies
The Center was created within the framework of the federal target program “Development of the pharmaceutical and medical industry of the Russian Federation for the period up to 2020 and beyond” with the aim of ensuring technological re-equipment, modernization and transition of the domestic pharmaceutical and medical industry to an innovative development model.
CTPT is an innovative element of the development of the Yaroslavl pharmaceutical cluster and currently provides research, development and technological work for its industrial residents.
Objectives of the Center
• Development of technologies for the production of innovative and reproduced (generic) drugs.
• Conducting preclinical studies of drugs on laboratory animals.
• Training of specialists in accordance with the principles of dual education.
• Development of quality control methods for medicines.
The Center conducts large-scale research on the development and implementation of technologies for the production of import-substituting active pharmaceutical substances, and work is underway to scale up technologies with the release of pilot industrial batches. The Center organizes practical scientific activities for senior students of the University and provides an opportunity for their further employment in the Center’s departments and postgraduate studies in the specialty 02.00.03 «Organic Chemistry»
