Program participants embarked on a grand journey across Russia — from the icy seas of the Arctic to the fire-breathing volcanoes of Kamchatka, from majestic mountain ranges to boundless steppes. The program was designed as a true exploration of Russia’s unique ecosystems.
As the concluding event, YSPU instructor Valeria Kravets hosted an intellectual quiz titled «The Natural Wealth of Russia.»
It was a true battle of minds! The participants answered tricky questions that required not just knowledge, but logic and ingenuity:
How can you tell old mountains from young ones?
Is it really possible to drink water from Lake Baikal?
Why don’t trees grow in the Valley of Geysers in Kamchatka?
Why is the Kamchatka bear a giant?
What is the true significance of the Volga for Russia?
And much more!
The participants performed brilliantly, demonstrating a deep understanding of natural processes and a love for the unique nature of our country.
The project is implemented by the My History Foundation for the Support of Humanities, with the support of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation.
